NBC 2016 and NFPA based wet, dry and deluge systems for all occupancy types.
A fire hydrant and sprinkler system carries water to hose points and sprinkler heads across a building or site. Druthi Power Controls supplies hydrant networks, sprinkler systems, hose reel boxes, foam systems and deluge systems, with Armorfire hydrant products.
DPCL designs, supplies and installs complete fire hydrant and automatic sprinkler systems to NBC 2016 and NFPA standards. Our scope includes hydraulic design, pipe network, valves, pumps, heads and commissioning. We also supply and install high-pressure water mist systems for turbine halls, server rooms and marine applications.
High-pressure hydrant networks for industrial and commercial sites, sized to NBC and NFPA flow requirements.
Automatic sprinkler systems with thermal-activated heads, designed to NFPA 13 coverage patterns.
Wall-mounted and recessed hose reel cabinets in corrosion-resistant materials, per IS:884.
AFFF and AR-AFFF foam systems for fuel storage, aircraft hangars and petrochemical plants.
Open-head sprinkler systems with dedicated deluge valve for transformer rooms, cable tunnels and high-hazard areas.

A hydrant network delivers water to hydrant valves and hose points around a building or site. Sprinkler systems discharge automatically through heat activated heads. Hose reel boxes give first aid fire fighting. Deluge systems use open heads and a deluge valve for high hazard areas such as transformer rooms. Foam systems are used where flammable liquids are stored or handled.
Sprinkler systems are usually designed to NFPA 13. Standpipe and hose systems are covered by NFPA 14, and underground mains and hydrants by NFPA 24. In India the National Building Code of India 2016, Part 4, sets fire and life safety requirements, and the local fire authority has the final say for a project.
A typical scope covers hydraulic design, the pipe network, valves, pumps, sprinkler heads or hydrant points, and commissioning. At commissioning the pipework is pressure tested and the system is flow tested.
This is general information. The governing code, the project design and the local fire authority decide the exact requirements for your site.
